Two luxury cruise liners usually seen touring the Caribbean have been spotted off the coast of Exmouth.
The 1,000-foot long Carnival Breeze and Carnival Magic have been in Europe repatriating staff while cruise holidays have been put on hold due to the coronavirus.
Both ships weigh 130,000 tonnes and hold 3,690 guests and more than 1,300 staff during holidays around the Caribbean, Bermuda, Canada, Europe and the Bahamas.
P&O Cruises confirmed that Carnival liners have been in the sea off Exmouth after members of the public spotted them from Shelly Beach.
Pictures taken by Luke Eveleigh – submitted via iWtiness – and Mary Ann Dowrich show the ships off the Exmouth coast.
A spokesman for Carnival said: “We have ships in Europe repatriating our crew members, including those from Carnival Breeze and Carnival Magic.”
