FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT: A family fun day in aid of Cancer Research UK is being held at All Saint’s Church Hall, Exeter Road, on Saturday, December 3.
A host of fun and entertainment has been planned, from 10.30am until 5.30pm, including face painting, refreshments, Zumba dancing, a raffle and stalls, including bric-a-brac and cakes.
All are welcome.

SPOTLIGHT ON A LA RONDE: Weekend torchlight tours of National Trust property A la Ronde are being run from now until December 18, from 12pm until 4pm.
Those visiting are invited to take along a torch, see the winter conservation cleaning in action and peek behind closed doors.
Tours set off every 15 minutes.
The last tour is at 3.15pm.

LOCAL CHARITY CARDS: Tower Street Methodist Church is holding a festive charity card shop from now until December 14.
Cards on sale will benefit at least 25 local charities.
The shop opens Monday to Saturday, 10am until 4pm.

BALKWILL EXHIBITION: County Kerry and Cornwall are among the recent paintings by Exmouth artist Ray Balkwill on display at a Christmas exhibition, on Saturday, December 3-December 4.
The Under Western Skies exhibition is at the Studio Gallery, Thistledown, on Marley Road, from 10am until 5pm.
The exhibition continues throughout December by appointment only.
