Caravan damaged by blaze at Exmouth site

A CARAVAN at Devon Cliffs Holiday Centre in Exmouth was severely damaged by fire.

Two fire appliances were called to tackle the blaze at around 10.38 this morning, October 29.

A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire Authority said: "The static caravan was well alight on the arrival of the crews."

Four sets of breathing apparatus was used as well as two hose reel jets and one main jet.

The caravan was severely damaged by the fire which was later extinguished.
