Car on its side after Clyst St George collision

An elderly man had to be taken to hospital after his car was on its side following a collision in Clyst St George.

Emergency services received reports at 12.30pm on Saturday, March 7, that a man was trapped in his car following a two vehicle accident on the Woodbury Road.

Fire crews were able to safely remove the man from his car and he was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hopsital.

Three people in the other vehicle were treated at the scene and the fire crews made the scene safe.
