MORE than �2000 was raised at Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare’s annual ‘Canap�s on the Quayside’ fundraiser.
Despite the few showers over 200 people thoroughly enjoyed the evening with the Take 4 jazz band providing the entertainment.
The event raised the cash for Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare which cares for patients and their families in the community.
Lynne Elson, administrator, said: “Our thanks go to everyone who helped on the day, Eagle One for their sponsorship and local businesses for their support of the draw.
“This is a very popular event in our fundraising calendar and we are very grateful for everyone who came with their umbrellas to make it such a success.”
