Exmouth police are appealing for help with a number of crimes and would like anyone with information to come forward

Police at Exmouth are appealing for information after a Vauxhall Zaphira parked in Littleham had one of its tyres slashed.

Officers said the damage happened sometime between 11.30pm on July 30 and 1.30pm the following day while the vehicle was parked in Jarvis Close.

Exmouth police are appealing for witnesses to help trace the culprits who caused hundreds of pounds of damage to shop windows in Exeter Road.

Officers said Seymour electrical store and Hospiscare were both targeted when lettering NKS was scratched into their windows.

The police said the vandalism was carried out sometime between Friday July 30 and Monday August 2.

Police community support officer Colin Balch said: “There was expensive and irreparable damage. Both shops can ill afford the cost of repair and the damage increases the cost of insurance to all.”

A Mazda 2 car parked in Caroline Close, Brixington, had its bonnet scratched overnight, sometime between Thursday July 29 and the following day.

The police are appealing for help tracing the thief who stole items from a Nissan Micra while it was parked in The Marles.

Officers said the car’s tax disk was stolen from an unlocked window sometime during July.

Deliberate damage caused to a car parked in Withycombe Raleigh has sparked a police appeal for help catching the culprit.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in Moorfield Road between 4pm and 8.10pm on Saturday July 31.

The police said a parked Kia Rio suffered dents to its bonnet and roof, possibly caused by feet.
