living in Exmouth is great, most of the time, but I feel something is lacking. We are, after all, in the 21st Century. We have plenty of charity shops, card shops and pubs full of kids who seem to have escaped their babysitters. We also have family pubs, clubs, working men's clubs etc, but there is nowhere for us gay and lesbians to go out in the area. Remedies used to have a gay night, but that has since shut. Exeter has one once a month - but, hang on, I'm gay all the time, not once a month.I don't want an in-your-face screaming gay club, but maybe a gay bar, cafe or just a night once a week - but not in the middle of the week when we have to work the next day. So, if any readers want to start some sort of group in the Exmouth area where we can meet and socialise, then please contact me via email. We will set up a group. And, if any bar, club or cafe owners would like to make a gay-friendly place, please also feel free to email out-in-exmouth@live.comName and address withheld
