Candidates for Exmouth by-election announced

The candidates for the East Devon District Council and Exmouth Town Council by-elections for the Exmouth Town ward have been announced ahead of the vote on March 1.

The list of candidates standing in the upcoming East Devon District Council (EDDC) and Exmouth Town Council by-elections has been revealed.

The vote, to be held on Thursday, March 1, will be to choose the replacement for Liberal Democrat Pat Graham, who announced her retirement as town and district councillor for the Exmouth Town Ward in November 2017.

The candidates who are standing for the district council seat are as follows: Dilys Hadley (Labour), Tony Hill (Conservative), Daphne Currier (Independent), Robert Masding (Green Party) and Tim Dumper (Liberal Democrats).

Candidates have also been announced for the election to find a town councillor to replace Mrs Graham.

Those who are standing for the town council seat are as follows: Dilys Hadley (Labour), Aurora Bailey (Conservative), Alex Sadiq (Liberal Democrats) and Oliver Davey (Green Party).
