EXMOUTH butchers Porky Down has been presented with an award for going that extra mile in its standards of cleanliness and care.
The butcher scooped a Pride in Exmouth award in recognition of how it keeps its premises tidy and attractive.
The award was jointly presented by the Exmouth Tidy Group and Exmouth town management, with Exmouth's mayor Daryll Nicholas making the presentation to Porky Down directors Gordon Trivett and Chris Down.
An Exmouth Tidy Group spokesman said: "On this occasion we chose Porky Down because of the attractive and colourful appearance of their shop - the cleanliness inside and out. The paving at the front of the shop is washed down on a regular basis and the outside rear area of the business is kept tidy and clean.
