Exmouth Air Cadets have enjoyed a busy summer of activities.

Among the highlights, some cadets attended a summer camp at RAF Linton-on-Ouse which included flying and live firing, and 18 cadets attended RAF St Mawgan for flights in twin-seater aircraft.

A number of cadets went to Snowdonia for adventure training, and some cadets travelled to Arnhem with the Devon and Somerset Wing for the annual Airborne March.

Cadets are also currently training for an upcoming first aid competition, and several cadets have also completed their Duke of Edinburgh awards.

With the squadron’s new headquarters due for completion in November, the next intake for youngsters in school year eight and above is on October 3.

The squadron is also looking for more staff, both uniformed and civilian.
