Businesses offering bespoke carpentry and joinery, and blinds and curtains, have become the latest occupants of new premises on the outskirts of Exmouth.

Witherby Carpentry and Joinery, owned by Richard Witherby, and Amor Blinds and Curtains, run by Clive Amor with his wife and children, have moved to the Harpford Units at Liverton Business Park.

Mr Witherby, from Exmouth, whose business has relocated from near Woodbury, said: “Our previous base was fairly isolated and draughty to say the least, so it’s definitely nice to be in purpose-built premises.

“My customers couldn’t come to the site before, but now they can, so it’s far more customer friendly. And the move to Liverton has meant the business is far more accessible, so it’s an absolutely perfect location.”

Clive said: “We had long outgrown our previous base. The new unit is far bigger and means we have far bigger showroom for our customers and larger area for manufacturing.”
