CONCERNS that bus passengers still do not know routes have changed has prompted a town councillor to appeal to bus bosses to put up signs.Councillor Steve Gazzard said he had a dozen calls over the weekend from angry passengers who still had no idea that the 57 bus no longer stopped at Gypsy Lane - and had been left waiting for over an hour. The 57 service now stops at Exeter Road, near Waverly Road, but, he said, they needed to do more to make people aware. He added: "I had about 12 calls over the weekend. The message just hasn't got through."People have been queuing for over an hour and because there is no sign on the bus stop saying it is no longer in use and where people should now catch the bus - it has led to confusion."I have written to StageCoach's operations manager asking for signs to be put up and to also see if they can move the bus stop."The Exeter Road stop isn't covered and is open to the elements.
