SCOUT HELP: Scout leaders have now distributed a third of the winter emergency leaflets. The leaflets, paid for by county councillor Christine Channon, give advice on what to stock up on in the event of a freeze, including medicine, food fuel and salt. Alan Lowe said: “The rest of the leaflets will be delivered over the next couple of weeks or so.”

AGE CONCERN: The Budleigh branch of Age Concern is holding their Christmas lunch at Peter hall on Thursday, December 15, at 12.15pm for 1pm. Tickets are �9.75 and are available from the Norman Centre from 10am to 4pm, weekdays.
