Budleigh Salterton - trees to be felled at Summerlands

DISTRICT councillors have given the go ahead to fell seven trees on land at Summerlands, in Cricketfield Lane, Budleigh Salterton.

DISTRICT councillors have given the go ahead to fell seven trees on land at Summerlands, in Cricketfield Lane, Budleigh Salterton.

East Devon District Council said six replacement trees must be planted near the felled ones, and should be from a list of specific varieties.

The council has given the go ahead to remove four sycamore trees, one birch tree and two holm oaks.

Permission was also given to a request to remove branches from two holm oaks, a sycamore and one holly tree.
