Budleigh Salterton police surgeries prove popular

BUDLEIGH Salterton's policing team said the new open police surgeries in the town and East Budleigh were proving popular.

PC David Lee said the police surgeries had generated a lot of interest in the town and the village.

PC Lee said people appreciated being able to go into the station and talk to the police face-to-face.

PC Lee said the second surgery at East Budleigh gave residents who were not confident of travelling to Budleigh Salterton the opportunity to meet their local officers.
