HOSPITAL appeal: Budleigh Salterton Hospital is appealing for volunteers to help out in their day unit. Call 01395 441313 if you think you can help.
EXTENSION BID: The final decision whether to allow a two-storey extension at the back of 4 Sherbrook Close will now be considered by East Devon District Council planners.
The plans did not have the support of the town councillors, who said that the extension would overlook a neighbouring property at 2 Sherbrook Close.
JOIN THE BROWNIES: Girls aged between seven and 10 are invited to Budleigh Salterton Brownies, which currently has spaces on Tuesday nights. Brownies meet at the Venture Hall, behind St Peter’s School, between 6pm and 7.30pm.

ROOF BID: A proposal to build a roof over an existing yard at Pulhayes Farm has been lodged this week. The final decision will be made by the district council.
