A RECORD number of teams took part in this year's Budleigh Salterton Lions Club annual charity golf day.
Some 37 teams played at East Devon Golf Club in aid of cancer charity FORCE.
Competition was fierce as golfers tried to hit a hole-in-one to win the top prize of a car - which Lion spokesman Geoff Paver said proved an elusive goal.
Prize giving and an auction were held during the evening.
Auction lots include a football shirt signed by the Manchester United football team, golf days and signed shirts from London Irish and the Exeter Chiefs.
