BUDLEIGH Salterton and District Hospiscare will on Saturday June 27 hold its first flag day in the town for many years.
Collection tins and buckets will be rattled up and down the High Street throughout the morning by Hospiscare nurses and volunteers.
Hospiscare spokesman Peter Norman said: "This is an opportunity for local residents to donate directly to Budleigh's own Hospiscare, which receives no outside funding.
"Hundreds of local residents have benefitted from the service of our three highly-qualified and appreciated nurses, and have already made generous donations.
"These nurses and the volunteers who support them are wholly funded by Budleigh Salterton and District Hospiscare.
