BUDLEIGH Salterton and surrounding areas are gearing up to take part in Christian Aid week, May 9-15.
Churches in Budleigh, East Budleigh, Bicton and Woodbury are preparing to carry out house-to-house collections to raise funds for the cause.
St Peter's Church is appealing for volunteers to help collect the cash.
This year the church will be visiting 32 streets in the town.
