BUDLEIGH Salterton was treated to a spectacular firework display on Saturday when Pinewood residential and nursing home held an event in aid of the town's Lions Club.
BUDLEIGH Salterton was treated to a spectacular firework display on Saturday when Pinewood residential and nursing home held an event in aid of the town's Lions Club.
Some �160 was raised for the charity after scores of spectators turned out to watch the professional firework display donated by the nursing home, and tuck into a barbecue.
Pinewood owner Philip Sadeghi said the firework display had taken six hours to set up.
He said: "It's lovely to have fireworks in Budleigh Salterton.
"It was a really good display and very well attended.
