A SEAGULL trapped in netting in Budleigh Salterton on Monday morning was freed by the town's firefighters.
The fire crew was called to Brook Lane shortly before 9.30am where they found a seagull trapped in netting on a second-storey roof.
The fire crew used an extension ladder and small tools to free the bird.
The seagull was left in the hands of the RSPCA.
