BUDLEIGH Salterton Carnival Club's pantomime Little Red Riding Hood has raised more than 1,000 for local causes.
The sell-out one-night show, performed by Wonder Productions, raised a total of 1,200, which will be ploughed back into the community.
Panto organiser Julie Meredith said the 'superb' show had attracted a bumper audience, despite the cold weather.
"Some people from up country, who have family in Budleigh, were coming but couldn't make it because of the snow," said Julie.
* The Carnival Club is holding its annual general meeting at 7.30pm on March 15, at the town's football club, in Greenway Lane.
All are welcome.
