BREAKING NEWS 14.57: Police say they are "keeping an open mind" after the discovery of a man's body half way down the cliff face at Budleigh Salterton today.
Police confirmed a man in his forties was on the cliff face below the coastal footpath close to the 17th hole at East Devon Golf Club.
Emergency services are currently waiting for Scene Of Crime Officers to arrive and carry out investigations before the coastguard rescue team will be allowed to recover the body.
Police said: "We are keeping an open mind as to the cause of the death - whether it is suspicious or not.
