Budleigh’s new no-cycling signs

No-cycling signs: three new anti-cycling signs have been painted along Budleigh Salterton seafront.

District councillor Steve Hall and county councillor Christine Channon, pictured above, have spearheaded a campaign to enforce a bike ban on the path.

The three round signs were last week stencilled on the path by the Gentleman’s Club, the Longboat Caf and near the Lime Kiln car park.

The specialist stencil, from Ireland, cost 200 to produce.

Cllr Hall said he had no problem with seafront cyclists - provided they were managed in a controlled way.
