PUB-goers dressed up in their finery for a summer ball which took place in Budleigh Salterton.
More than 150 people attended the ball at The Feathers Hotel, on the High Street, on Saturday, July 11, with women wearing posh frocks and men in suits and bow ties.
Landlady Joan Salt said it was a successful event.
She added: "People who come into the Feathers often say they never go anywhere where they can dress up so we decided to have a ball to give people the opportunity."
Joan, 61, who has run the Feathers for six years, said a skittle alley based at the back of pub was painted based on a beach theme.
"We had a Christmas ball last December which was a huge success and wanted to do something again off the back of that. There was food on offer and music - it was great.
