Work has been completed on a £244,000 refurbishment of The Salterton Arms pub in Budleigh Salterton.
The Chapel Street pub has reopened after a makeover, to improve the overall experience for customers, and with a new menu.
The investment has upgraded the pub’s kitchen, cellar and toilet facilities.
New furniture, fixtures and fittings have been provided as part of a full redecoration inside and out.
Experienced publican Rick Green has taken over the helm at The Salterton Arms and is supported by the existing pub team.
Rick said: “The Salterton Arms is already a popular community pub.
“The changes have not altered the pub’s atmosphere, but improved facilities, making it more attractive to our customers, old and new.”
The new menu features all the usual pub favourites, as well as chef’s specials and a Sunday carvery. Children will also have their own menu.
There will be various food and drink offers throughout the week, including steak nights and fishy Friday deals.
Commenting on behalf of Punch, openings manager Andrew Killeen said: “The Salterton Arms is a charming pub in a lovely seaside location and is popular with locals and tourists alike.”
