THIEVES are on the lookout for the ‘easy pickings’ of unattended property on Budleigh Salterton’s beach.
That is the view of PC Colin Balch, of Budleigh police, who is appealing for people to be careful where their belongings are kept to prevent them from being stolen.
He said people should make sure such items were kept secure and made less of a visible target for thieves.
