BUDLEIGH Salterton police held an awareness day in an attempt to prevent drivers from facing the misery of theft.
The town's police community support officer Malcolm Maguire at the weekend ran a Gone in 60 Seconds campaign, offering a common sense approach to crime prevention.
The police officer ran the awareness session along South Farm Road, Budleigh.
He urged drivers leaving vehicles in isolated spots to lock their cars, close windows and doors, remove any valuables from the vehicle and choose a safe place to park.
