Budleigh Male Voice Choir raise funds for charities

Budleigh Male Voice Choir has raised £3,000 this year for Hospiscare, Devon Air Ambulance, Exmouth RNLI and Mill Water School.
Budleigh Salterton’s male voice choir has raised £3,000 for regional charities through their concerts in 2017.
The choir held five concerts around Devon for the benefit of Exmouth RNLI, Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare, Exeter Hospiscare, Mill Water School and the Devon Air Ambulance.
In presenting cheques to the air ambulance, RNLI and Mill Water School, choir chairman Geoff Cound said: “The choir’s main objectives were to raise funds for worthy causes, provide a fulfilling and stimulating hobby for its sixty or so members, and to perform memorable concerts for its audiences.”
Budleigh Male Voice Choir will be performing at Bicton Gardens on Friday (December 1) as part of Budleigh’s late night shopping event.
They will also be taking part in Exeter Cathedral’s ‘Big Sing’ on Friday, December 15 before the choir’s Christmas concert at St Peter’s Church on Saturday, December 16 at 7pm.
Tickets cost £10 and are available from Budleigh Information Centre or Reflections in High Street.
