Budding writers will have the chance to finish a story written by Exmouth-based author Graham Hurley.
An East Devon author has donated a story to be used in a Budleigh Salterton Library competition for budding writers.
Graham Hurley, based in Exmouth, has started a tale called ‘Oculus’ and is calling on people to come up with the ending.
The story must be completed in 2000 words or less.
The author, who is also a patron of Budleigh Library, will sit on a panel of judges and the prizes will be awarded during Budleigh Gala Week in May next year.
There is a first prize of £100 and two runner-up prizes of £50 each. These prizes have been donated by the Friends of Budleigh.
Closing date for entries is Saturday, April 14, 2018.
