BUDLEIGH Salterton in Bloom has been praised by the town council for its green-fingered efforts.
Town mayor councillor Courtney Richards this week publicly congratulated the group for scooping two awards in the South West bloom competition.
Speaking at Monday's council meeting Cllr Richards said: "The committee are to be commended for their amazingly good effort.
"They are a credit to the town."
Budleigh was awarded the Ayre Cup top prize for the best small town for the third year in succession.
The town also bagged the new McDonald's Trophy for the best seaside entry in the South West.
