A plan to convert a first-floor flat in Budleigh Salterton to become a dental surgery has been backed by the town council.
Budleigh Salterton Town Council has given its support to an application to convert a first-floor flat into a dental surgery.
The town council’s planning committee were asked to consider the proposal for a property in Station Road at a recent meeting.
It is hoped the application would provide further accommodation for the existing dental practice on the ground floor.
Councillors voted to support the application.
At the same meeting, committee members also gave their support to a plan to replace an existing roof extension in Rolle Cottages. If given the go-ahead, a wall to the rear of the property would also be replaced.
An application to build a new garage in Northview Road and a proposal to convert a loft in Redhills were also given the support of the town council. The plans also include a pitched roof dormer window at the rear of the building.
All these applications will be decided by East Devon District Council planners.
