Online dating talk at Budleigh Library

A Budleigh couple who proved it is never too late to find love online are preparing for their latest talk to help others.
As previously reported by the Journal, John Humphreys, 87, and wife Judith, 84, met through a dating website.
The couple, who have now been married for more than three years, held a talk at the Budleigh Salterton Health and Wellbeing Hub in November, offering tips on how best to use online dating.
Following the success of that event, the Budleigh Medical Centre has asked them to hold another talk at Budleigh Library on Tuesday, April 10, from 10.30am.
Judith said that they aimed to help older, lonely people, who may be daunted by the prospect of using the internet.
The talk is free to attend. Those wishing to attend should reserve a place in advance by calling the library on 01395 443245.
