A GROUP of get-fit wannabes have decided to take part in a charity weight loss programme to raise money for Help the Heroes.
Around seven members of staff from the Tesco Express store in Brixington plan on shedding pounds for the fundraiser before August.
The members of staff who started the diet last week, include Jan Priston, Nikita Ottewell, Olivia Simpson, Heather Shaw and Hayley Shaw.
Hayley, 41, of Moorfield Road, said: "We have raised the best part of around 200 sponsors so far.
"Trying to eat healthier is one of the ways the girls plan to lose weight and some have joined a gym.
"We are all being very dedicated about it. Some of the girls are going on holiday soon, so that is another incentive to lose weight.
