BRIXINGTON Community Church is taking part in a record-breaking attempt to hold the largest men's breakfast.More than 40,000 men from around the country, all within the Baptist community, will sit down at 9am for The Men's Bigger Breakfast on Saturday, October 11.It is an attempt to break the record for the most men eating breakfast at the same time - set by Texan cowboys in 2001, with 18,942.It is hoped this will encourage the formation of more men's groups within the Baptist community.Churches across the UK and in Texas have signed up, and will host breakfasts in pubs, homes and churches.The organiser at Brixington, David Fulls, said: "If everything goes to plan, we should have more than 40,000 people sitting down to breakfast.
