Breaking news - the body of a young woman has been pulled from the River Exe, near Exmouth, by the lifeboat crew.
Detectives from Exmouth CID accompanied the crew as they recovered the body onboard the lifeboat.
The discovery comes on the same day the police issued an appeal to find a 20-year-old woman with learning difficulties who on Wednesday failed to return to her Dawlish accommodation.
The police could not confirm the body is that of Emma Hall, who lives in the Thames Valley and was staying in Dawlish for the week.
