Conservatives John Humphreys, Mark Williamson and Tim Wood won the Exmouth Littleham ward at the District Council elections.
John Humphreys received 1,577 votes, Mark Williamson received 1,548 votes and Tim Wood received 1,474 votes. Labour’s David Gwilliam (764 votes), independent Mark Hawkins (679 votes) and UKIP’s Lesley Kelly (493 votes) were all defeated.
There was a 47.5 per cent turnout in the ward.
