SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4: AN Exmouth business which faced the 'worst-ever year' has reported a boom in business following the recent spell of good weather. Stuart Line Cruises said the dismal summer had resulted in tourist figures plummeting. But numbers have more than doubled
AN Exmouth business - which faced the 'worst-ever year' - has reported a boom in business following the recent spell of good weather.Stuart Line Cruises said the dismal summer had resulted in tourist figures plummeting.But numbers have more than doubled this month with the improved weather - and this weekend alone the company has taken some 2,000 bookings.Owner Ian Stuart said the good weather had completely turned things around."Our passenger figures had dropped so low we had to drop down to our winter timetable but, because we have been so busy over the weekend, we have had to revert back to the summer timetable," said Mr Stuart.
