BLOOM FUNDRAISER: A coffee morning, handicraft sale and cake stall is being held by Littleham in Bloom on Saturday, November 26. The event will be held at Littleham village community hall, from 10.30am until 12.30pm.

‘NO’ TO EXTENSION: Plans to extend a Lympstone home have been recommended for refusal by the parish council. The owners of 41 Jackson Meadow want to build a first-floor extension, over the home’s garage, with a dormer window. However, councillors said the extension would overlook neighbouring properties, and would spoil the house’s appearance. The plan will now be considered by East Devon District Council.

PUBLIC SPEAKING: A three-month trial for public speaking at town council finance meetings will start on November 21. Speaking will be limited to three minutes per person and a total of 15 mins.
