Biker dies after thrown from vehicle on to house roof

BREAKING NEWS - MONDAY, OCTOBER 20 - A man believed to be from Exmouth has died in an accident involving the motorcyclist landing on a house roof.

A MAN believed to be from Exmouth has died in an accident involving the motorcyclist landing on a house roof.

The accident on Saturday, October 18, occurred on the B3193 near Doddiscombsleigh in the Teign Valley and involved a 52-year-old man being catapulted from his black Triumph Tiger motorcycle onto a house roof.

The man is thought to be from Exmouth and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three fire appliances from Exeter were mobilised and scaffolding boards and acro props were requested from the incident to make the building safe and prop up the outside wall.

Police are appealing to any witnesses to this incident.
