As an ex-wren who served 10 years in the WRNS and had two postings at CTCRM Lympstone, I have recently been inspired when we (a group of ex-wrens) went to a wrens' reunion in Portsmouth last weekend.
The weekend was fantastic, yet also made us all realise that there is no Association of Wrens' Exmouth Branch - well, none that we know of - and wanted to know if there are any ex-wrens and serving wrens who would like to be involved or become a member of this branch in order for us to make it official.
It is a shame to think there is nothing like this in such a military area. I hope that many ex-wrens may read this and either ring me or even pass on my contact details to anyone they may know.
