Students from Bicton College will be renovating a vintage tractor at the Devon County Show this weekend to raise funds for charity.

The agricultural engineering students will be undertaking the challenge to raise funds for Bicton Overseas Agricultural Trust (BOAT).

The team will face a race against time to get it ready to be driven around the main ring on Saturday.

Land-based engineering lecturer Chris Jaworski said: “At the end of the show, the tractor will be auctioned off.

“Every penny goes to supporting communities and farmers in Africa.”
