Bicton College celebrating high exam success rate

Veterinary nurses at Bicton College are celebrating after achieving a 100 per cent success rate in practical exams.

All students taking the level three City and Guild Diploma in veterinary nursing have been tested on anatomy, physiology, animal husbandry, diagnostic imaging and operating theatre practice.

College principal Phil le Grice said: “Staff and students at Bicton College want to say a huge thank-you and congratulations to all of our vet nurse students as we are very proud of them all.”

Beth Lewis, a first year student, said: “I am so proud of my classmates who have all done brilliantly. The course is fast-paced, but we are learning in a very positive environment. I am well on my way to success and achieving my dream of becoming a veterinary nurse.”

Holly Smith, a program manager of the veterinary nursing program, added: “We are delighted with our students’ exam results.”
