FORGET about buying a state of the art games console to stimulate your mind - people can now give their brain a workout by joining an Exmouth Bridge club.
A beginners club starts next Wednesday, September 16 at the Methodist Church Hall in Roundhouse Lane in the town.
Tutor Rosemary Ormerod said not only was it a card game that provides mental stimulation, friendships can also grow by partaking in the activity.
She added: "One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching bridge is watching friendships grow.
"This is a game that can be played at any level and four friends playing at home will gain as much from bridge as the top tournament pairs.
