Exmouth Beach Rescue Club has celebrated its 30th birthday.

Around 150 past and present members, family and supporters celebrated at Ocean

Tracey Simpson received the clubman award for her dedication and commitment.

Tracey received the members’ choice award for her support to the club.

The competition award was presented to Scott Simpson-Currie to mark his dedication to surf lifesaving sport and celebrate a gold medal he won at the nationals this year.

Lillie Johnson received the most improved member award for her improved confidence and skill on the water. The best senior award was handed to Vicky Gall, the club’s vice-captain, for her continued support to the club even through her study and work life.

Jake Butt received the best junior award for his dedication, attendance and support.

Two members jointly received the captain’s cup – Eva Waddell and Martha Bowden. Over the last season, they both received lifeguard qualifications.
