Beach flasher prompts Exmouth police appeal

A pervert who exposes himself to women on Exmouth beach has prompted the police to launch an appeal to trace the flasher.

Officers at Exmouth are urging victims to dial 999 immediately he strikes so they can catch him in the act.

Police have released a description of a man who recently exposed himself to two 14-year-old girls as they sat on the sand dunes.

The police said they have received a number of calls reporting a man exposing himself to females, most recently at the end of June in the middle of the afternoon.

They believe more than one pervert could be at large targeting women.

PC Sallyanne Southern said the teenage girls had been sunbathing on the second set of sand dunes when they became aware of a man taking photographs of them. The man’s shorts were rolled up on one side, exposing his penis.

The man is described as white, of a slim build, about six feet tall, had a long face, pale skin, was around 30 years old, had black hair in the style of a grown-out shaved look and long thin sideburns.
