BRIXINGTON residents are being asked to be the ears and eyes of the police after white powder thought to be class-A drug cocaine, drugs paraphernalia and cannabis was seized from three addresses in the area.

Officers are asking residents to report any strange activity to the police.

PC Dave Evans said: "Exmouth does have a drugs problem comparable to any town of its size throughout the country.

"We are actively seeking information to disrupt the supply of drugs within our community.

"We are particularly interested in any strange activities within Brixington - lots of people visiting an address for a short time, or people that appear to be living beyond their means."

* Exmouth police said a man was on bail for alleged possession with intent to supply.

Another has been charged with possession of cannabis.
