EXMOUTH'S National Coastwatch Institution's newest members have been presented with awards in recognition of their new duties.National Coastwatch Institution Exmouth station manager Bill Nash presented assistant watch keeper epaulettes to new members John Guest, pictured left, and Keith Stewart, right.Mike Fowler received a framed certificate and his qualified watch keeper epaulettes.After the presentation Mr Nash told members of the repositioning of the channel buoys, changing the main channel to the swashway, near to the Pole sands.He warned members to expect some confusion among the boating fraternity until the new channel becomes more familiar.And he revealed a flag will now be flown from the Coastwatch tower as a signal to let passing vessels know when the tower is manned.
