A WITHYCOMBE Raleigh Primary School lollipop lady has been rewarded for helping children safely cross the road.Audrey Davis recently attended an annual long service award ceremony in Exeter, where she was presented with a bronze award for five years' service as a crossing patrol.Devon County Council chairman John Rawlinson, who presented the awards, said: "Our school crossing patrols perform a vital job in helping schoolchildren across Devon get to and from school safely, whatever the weather. Their loyalty can be seen in the amount of years clocked up by the award winners.
