Attacks on NHS staff halved

THE numbers of assaults on NHS Devon staff has almost halved since last year.

THE numbers of assaults on NHS Devon staff has almost halved since last year.

According to figures from the national NHS security management service, this year there have been four assaults for every 1,000 staff compared with eight the previous year.

The NHS has been working with crime reduction officers and the South West youth offending team to give staff advice on safety and security.
